Full-Time MBA

MBA in 2 Years

The University of Delaware offers a traditional full-time MBA in which you can concentrate or specialize in a specific area of interest. By leveraging the entire University, you can create a unique and focused program of study while still graduating with a universally recognized and AACSB internationally accredited UD MBA degree. Full-time students generally take 12 credits (four classes) per semester and attend four semesters spanning 21 months. Attending courses during winter and summer sessions can accelerate the full-time program.

Accelerated MBA in One Year
 

If you have obtained a bachelor’s degree in business from an AACSB-accredited institution within the past five years, you may be eligible for course waivers, which are based on degree earned, academic performance, and undergraduate institution. In some cases, course waivers may enable you to complete your UD MBA in as little as one year. Course waivers should be assessed upon your application to the MBA program. Please direct any questions regarding course waivers to the director of recruitment and admission.

Suggested Sequences

The suggested sequences below serve only as examples; you are encouraged to create an academic plan that best fits your individual needs. Any course waivers are subject to an in-depth review. While there are several prerequisites that must be met, we encourage you to register for electives as soon as you satisfy the prerequisites. Electives may only be offered once a year, or some electives may only be offered once every other year. The suggested sequences start in the fall semester; however, you may begin the UD MBA in fall, spring, or summer. At least one section of the 10 core courses will be available each regular (fall and spring) semester.
