Options That Suit Your Needs

Whatever your individual needs may be, the Alfred Lerner College of Business and Economics offers an MBA program that will enable you to chart your own path to success. Please click on the name of a program from the list below to learn more about it.

Full-Time MBA

If you can make a full-time commitment to an intensive educational experience, this option is for you. The program generally takes 21 months to complete and combines coursework, hands-on application, research with faculty, presentations by business leaders, participation in community service, and development of the skills you’ll need for successful placement after graduation. You’ll also have the option to choose a specialization or concentration in an area of interest beyond the core required courses. With the right combination of undergraduate experience and course waivers, it is possible to complete this program in one year.

Part Time MBA

If you’re working full-time and want to complete an MBA through courses offered during the evenings, the part-time MBA program offers the flexibility you need. You can select a concentration or specialization from a diverse set of alternatives, as well as participate in special programs including a concentrated study abroad experience. The part-time program can generally be completed in three years.

Quick Start: Pathways Program

The Pathways Program provides a quick start into the MBA program by allowing you to take up to three classes while preparing for the GMATs.

MBA Conditional Admissions Program

If you are an international student who still needs to take the TOEFL exam, you may still be able to get started on your MBA at UD through the MBA Conditional Admissions Program (MBA-CAP).

Dual and Joint Degree Options

Our dual and joint degree programs enable you to combine the strategic business skills of the MBA with a variety of other disciplines. MBA degrees are available in combination with advanced degrees in economics; information systems and technology management; organizational effectiveness, development, and change; international business; biological sciences; and engineering.

MBA 4+1 Options

University of Delaware undergraduates in the 4+1 programs in engineering, music, and hotel, restaurant, and institutional management have the opportunity to enter into the MBA program full-time with the possibility of completing the MBA within one year.

Executive MBA (EMBA)

This dynamic program for experienced working professionals meets on the weekends and is completed in just 19 months.

MBA at AstraZeneca (MBAz)

Employees of AstraZeneca in Fairfax, Delaware, may earn their MBA through courses taught at their workplace or in a distance-learning format.
