New Student Orientation

New Student Orientation

We are looking forward to meeting you at our New Student Orientation on Monday, August 31st. Orientation is your time to get acquainted, get involved, and get inspired for the journey ahead. As with any multi-year journey, preparation is a must. Your participation at this Orientation is very strongly recommended. Below you'll find information on location, time, program and parking.

Location: Lerner Hall. Please check in at the registration table located inside the formal front door ( facing the corner of Amstel & Orchard Aves.) to pick up your name tag and information. From there you will be directed to the classroom where we are gathering.

Time: Registration begins at 2:00 pm (Full-time Students) and 3:30 pm (Part-time Students). The program will conclude for everyone at 6pm.

Dress: Business Casual or whatever yo uare wearing that day for work.

Payment: There is no fee for this event.

What to Bring: We will have information packets available for you, so just bring a pen or pencil to make notes. You may bring a laptop, but you are solely responsible for it during the program.

RSVP: Please RSVP by Monday, August 24 so that we can be properly prepared.

Program: You will meet the new classmates, faculty, and staff with whom you will be taking this journey. In addition you'll learn more about the courses that comprise your degree program, available services/opportunities such as Career Services, Competitions, Funding, Study Abroad programs, Faculty Expectations, and so on. You'll also get been-there how- to advice from current students.

Spouses/Children: Since this event is all about getting you focused on the upcoming journey, we ask that spouses, friends and children wait for a more suitable occasion to get involved.

Parking: Depending on where you are coming from, you can park in the Trabant Garage on Main St. or at the Center for Fine Arts (CFA) Garage on Elkton Road. While there are meters in front of the building, you (and your classmates) will find running out to feed the meter quite distracting. View Campus Maps here.

Questions? Please visit New Student Resources at the MBA website or contact us directly. We're looking forward to the 31st and hope you are too! See you then!
