Corporate Associate Position Description
We are seeking an energetic and motivated MBA student to assist with researching the topic of Bio-similars(also know as Follow-on Biologics or Biogenerics). This would include new or "generic" versions of innovator biopharmaceutical products, following patent expiry. Under the directions of the Vice President, Generics Sourcing, the selected candidate will be expected to:
- Conduct research on the emerging Biosimilar landscape to identiy pertinent information.
- Review and assess information on the Biosimilar landscape and create a comprehensive assessment covering areas such as biosimilar industry, market, regulatory and technical requirements.
- Work with internal specialty generics biosimilar team
- Develop assessment and presentations for senior management
Ideal candidates must possess the following:
- Currently pursing MBA degree( preferably targeting graduation in 2010)
- Undergraduate studies/degree in Biology, Chemistry or other life sciences discipline and/or interest in the area preferred.
- Past professional experience with a business or a non-profit organization
- Past experience with Life sciences or other related industry preferred.
- Willing to take initiative to learn about new markets, product licensing opportunities and medical treatments.
- Strong analytical and problem - solving skills
- Good organization, communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Experience with researching and collating information on complex matters.
