Marketing Assistant - Regulated Industries

Description
Aqualon is the world’s leader in the manufacture and sale of cellulose ethers and guar derivatives serving markets from latex paint and construction materials to food,  personal care and pharmaceuticals.  The Regulated Industry Group (serving the personal care, food, and pharmaceutical industries) is seeking a motivated and creative individual for the following internship as a marketing assistant.

 

Responsibilities will include

  • Development of sales materials, including technical data sheets and brochures
  • Preparation of Powerpoint presentations to support new product & new applications sales
  • Data mining and analysis to support new product strategy development

 

Position requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical field (chemistry and/or biology preferred)
  • Marketing concentration in MBA studies
  • Ability to self-start and to work independently given direction
  • Excellent written communication skills
  • Good analytical skills
  • Microsoft office skills (Excel, Word, Powerpoint)
