Setup E-mail Account

Instructions

Setting up your UDEL email account is the most important step in “Getting Started.” Outside of the classroom experience, it is the primary communication tool for faculty, administration and other students. Each graduate student is expected to access his or her email at least once per day and encouraged to check it multiple times throughout the day.

You may find it most convenient to forward your UDEL email account to another email account that you access regularly: i.e. work email, existing yahoo or gmail account – whatever is most convenient for you.

Once your acceptance letter and $300 deposit have been received by the Office of Graduate Studies, the AssistantProvost, Mary Martin will send you an email with your temporary Personal Identification Number (PIN). This PIN along with your UD ID number are critical to setting up your email account. [Your UD ID number is the number you were assigned during the application process.]

Now you are ready to go to Get Your Account!

The instructions state: “New Students and Transfer Students who attend DelaWorld will set their UDelNet ID and password as one of the day's activities.” This does not apply to graduate students – as you are not expected at DelaWorld activities. This is strictly an undergraduate event.
